I yearn for the day when I "have my act together." Yet, that day is the day when I will be with Jesus, not the earthly day that I covet.FishMamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02048416191022893529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9931167.post-1153785797193920382006-07-24T17:03:00.000-07:002006-07-24T17:03:00.000-07:00Wonderful analogy, friend. We should all list our Road Show finds of the spiritual kind quite regularly.I'm sure we have more than a double-wide under this roof alone.Zoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07119513647613843627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9931167.post-1153766197027510132006-07-24T11:36:00.000-07:002006-07-24T11:36:00.000-07:00I would say cleaning out your basement as detailed...I would say cleaning out your basement as detailed as you did w/ a husband recovering from surgery and four sick kids to care for is one of those moments of some major grace, my friend!!

The way Jason led you through it reminded me so much of how Lawrence leads me through my little "fits" with the great perspective and seemingly unrelated story to boot! :) Makes me grateful for a husband who is also one of those means of major grace in my life!Briana Almengorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02293491814957933904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9931167.post-1153749304873028422006-07-24T06:55:00.000-07:002006-07-24T06:55:00.000-07:00I too, often find myself living with that kind of ...I too, often find myself living with that kind of mindset. It is ultimately lack of contentment and lack of trust in Christ's purpose for my life. I have a hard time just living in the moment sometimes. But if I don't, I'll miss out on the everyday lessons God has for me.
